Not for any particular reason whatsoever. But I like the organisation of it.

Creating is chaos, but putting the chaos in paper requires method.

Cannot give you all in one go. Need to keep the mistery, need to keep the readers wondering. And for that I require to know it all, how will the events play out, what is the purpose of the chapter. And then give you piece by piece what you need, and only that.
